Waterproof test for automobiles and trailers is mainly to determine the waterproofness of lighting and light signal devices. The national standard GB/T10485 standard explains that if a car is to be tested for waterproofing, generally two methods are adopted:
method one:
(1) Preparation before the test
1. Prepare two lighting or light signal devices
2. Rain test device test bench speed is (4.0 ± 0.5) r/min
3. The centerline of the water spray pipe is downwards at an angle of 45°±5° from the vertical axis of the horizontal rotating test bench. The water flow of the spray pipe should cover the sample. The precipitation rate is 2.5 (+1.5 -0) mm/min (water flow) Collector 100mm, minimum internal diameter 140mm)
(2) Test conditions
The sample is protected by loading conditions and all openings are opened.
(3) Test methods
1. Mount the sample on the center of the turntable
2. Turn on the light for 3min, turn off 2min, and spray water continuously for 12h
3. After the water spray and rotation stop, the sample should drain in the tank for 1h
(4) Result determination
After the end of the test, the function of the sample should be normal
The later Xiao Bian will continue to explain to you the other way of waterproofing the car signal device, so stay tuned!
