(hereinafter referred to as "Beiqi New Energy") signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and the two sides will be in the framework of "Smart Transport, Green Travel" cooperation framework. We will promote all-round cooperation in the areas of automotive sunroof roof solutions, new energy vehicle charging and replacement stations, shared electric vehicles, and the construction of distributed energy in parks and factories. It is worth mentioning that this is a cooperation between Hanergy and another large auto company following the strategic cooperation between Hanergy Thin Film Power and German Audi.

It is understood that the sunroof roof solution developed by Hanergy and BAIC New Energy will apply thin-film solar energy to the sunroof and roof of the car to provide auxiliary power for the vehicle and thus increase the cruising range. In addition, both parties will also provide backup power for automotive GPS, electronic locks, etc. through the use of thin film solar technology in the area of ​​shared electric vehicles.

In addition to the cooperation in the automotive industry, it is reported that Beiqi New Energy will also apply Hanneng's solutions for the integration of thin film power generation in the automotive parks and factories, and will cooperate in agricultural cross-border and photovoltaic poverty alleviation areas.

The industry believes that thin-film solar chips have the characteristics of high conversion efficiency and flexibility, which provides a technical prerequisite for the application of the technology in the automotive field.

Not long ago, Beijing Automotive Group has solemnly promised to the whole society: By 2020, it will take the lead in Beijing to completely stop sales of its own branded traditional fuel passenger vehicles and, by 2025, completely stop production and sales of its own brand of traditional fuel passenger vehicles in China.
