Automobile brake lining is an important safety part of the automobile brake system. It is understood that the main problems of brake linings for automobiles are the following: First, excessive wear, and excessive wear rates affect the service life of the brakes. Road tests have proved that the mileage of brake linings with good quality should reach more than 50,000 kilometers, and even mountainous areas should reach more than 10,000 kilometers. However, most of these unqualified linings can not be used normally for thousands of kilometers. Followed by the friction coefficient can not meet the requirements, affecting the car's braking performance, especially when the car is in need of emergency braking at high speeds. If the friction coefficient is too low, brakes will be insensitive. If the friction coefficient is too high, the vehicle will slip and reverse. Of the 18 types of brake linings that were spot checked this time, there were 7 kinds of unacceptable friction coefficients. The reason for the quality problems is that raw materials are not used. First, some manufacturers use recycled materials in order to reduce costs; second, formulas and production processes are not.

Automobile distributors and ignition coils are key parts of gasoline engine ignition systems for automobiles. Their performance stability and quality are directly related to the vehicle’s dynamic performance, economic performance, emission performance, radio interference characteristics and vehicle reliability. . However, in the Beijing Xijiao Auto Parts City, Beijing’s Siyuanqiao Auto Parts Market and Tianjin Auto Parts City, 17 automotive distributors and 12 kinds of ignition coils were sampled, covering basically the distributors and ignition coils used in the major vehicle models in the country. Such as Santana, Alto, Jetta, Xiali, Hongqi, Cherokee, Changhe, Chang'an, Songhua River, liberation, etc., were tested and passed 5 kinds and 8 kinds respectively, the sampling pass rate was 29.4% and 66.7% respectively.

Spot checks show that at present, China's auto parts market, sub-electric appliances, ignition coil products are mixed, product quality is uneven, a large number of fake and shoddy products flooded. It not only affects the entire vehicle performance of automotive products, but also disrupts the market order and seriously damages the interests of regular manufacturers and consumers. Especially for auto distributors, of the 17 distributors that were spot checked this time, counterfeit products and non-commercially confirmed products reached 11 kinds of races, all of which were unqualified after inspection, and many of these products simply could not operate normally or did not catch fire.

The spot check also found that due to the rapid development of the automotive industry in recent years, it has driven the technological advancement of auto parts products and the improvement of product quality. The current auto industry standards are formulated earlier and have not been revised in recent years. Individual projects are not applicable to the current more advanced products, and some project requirements are relatively loose, which is not conducive to the improvement of product quality, and should be given due attention by all competent authorities.

In view of the state of the supervision and spot checks on the quality of some auto parts products, the National Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision requested the local quality and technical supervision departments to strengthen the supervision of the informal enterprises and the auto parts market.
