Sichuan Nanchong Introduces Leading Enterprises to Strengthen Automotive Auto Parts Industry

Recently, the Nanchong Municipal Government of Sichuan Province held a special meeting to study the development of the automotive auto parts industry. The meeting proposed to accurately position, timely formulate the Nanchong automobile industry and automobile industry park planning; highlight the key points, speed up the cultivation and the introduction of leading enterprises, bigger and stronger car auto parts industry.

It is reported that automobile auto parts industry is one of the four pillar industries that Nanchong focuses on developing. Currently, there are 98 automotive auto parts enterprises above designated size in Nanchong. The “six major assemblies” including engines, axles, frames, etc. can all achieve localized production, and key components such as filters and heat exchangers can all be scaled. The company has formed an annual production capacity of 30,000 trucks and 15,000 engines. In addition, the Nanchong automotive manufacturing industry has been included in Sichuan's “7+3” industrial development plan and will strongly promote the development of LNG engines, LNG vehicles, and LNG filling stations.
