According to reports, a few days ago, AUTOVAZ, the largest automaker in Russia, signed a cooperation agreement with Japanese automaker Nissan to jointly develop plastics for vehicles. Volga will provide technical support for the production of this material.

Without the establishment of new equipment, Volga and Nissan Motor Co. will achieve standard production of automotive plastics within three years, promote the modernization of automobile production and increase the efficiency of automobile production. The production of Volga's Lada Motors, together with its partners Nissan and the French carmaker Renault, will require a large number of automotive plastic parts.

In 2020, the new alliance of Renault, Nissan and Volga plans to increase their annual production capacity in Russia to 1.88 million vehicles, of which Renault’s products will account for half of the total, Reynolds brand vehicles will be 445,000, and Nissan brand cars. 406,000 vehicles.
