How to distinguish between genuine and fake automotive accessories

First, see if the logo is complete.

The quality of the genuine outer packaging is good, the writing on the box is clear, and the overprinting is vivid. Boxes and bags should be marked with the product name, model number, quantity, registered trademark, factory name, and telephone number. Some manufacturers also use their own marks on accessories. Some important components such as generators, distributors, fuel injection pumps, etc., are also equipped with instruction manuals, certificates of conformity, and inspector's chapters to guide users in proper use and maintenance.

Second, see if there is any deformation in the geometry.

Some parts are easily deformed due to improper manufacturing, transportation, and storage. During inspection, the shaft part can be rolled along the glass plate to see if there is any light leakage between the part and the glass plate to judge whether it is bent; when the clutch plate or friction plate is selected, the steel plate and friction can be selected. In the case of oil seals, the end face of the oil seal with the skeleton should be perfectly round and can be attached to the flat glass without deflection.

Finally, see if there is any rust on the surface of the part.

Qualified parts surface, both a certain degree of precision and bright finish, the more important parts, the higher the precision, the stricter the rust-proof and anti-corrosion package. Should pay attention to inspection when purchasing, if you find parts of rusty spots, mold spots or rubber pieces cracking, loss of elasticity, or the surface of the journal has a clear turning pattern, should be exchanged.
