On September 1, the first ban on phase-out of incandescent lamps in the European Union officially came into effect, and by 2012, the use of incandescent light bulbs will be completely banned. At the same time, the EU and other countries have announced the installation of new vehicles to carry lights. Incandescent will be disabled

At the EU summit held this spring, EU countries reached a consensus and decided to gradually replace incandescent light bulbs with new energy-saving light sources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Countries also intend to pass legislation to ban the production of energy-consuming light sources from 2009 onwards. At the same time, the EU also proposed that from February 2011 onwards, all new models of passenger vehicles should be equipped with a running light, and commercial vehicles must be equipped with a running light from August 2012 onwards. These countries formally announced that they will completely disable and ban incandescent lamps by 2014 at the latest.

LED automotive lighting advantages

Automotive engineers and designers have a keen interest in light emitting diodes.
