Baidu Joins Hands with Harman to Develop China's Artificial Intelligence Automotive Market

The cooperation will be based on Harman Cloud Platform, Baidu DuerOS personal digital assistant and speech recognition engine technology will be used for Harman Smart Cars. DuerOS is an open smart operating system developed by Baidu. It currently supports voice-activated digital assistants for mobile phones, televisions, speakers, and other devices. It also supports access by third-party developers. The two parties will jointly develop smart car functions including Chinese and English automatic speech recognition (ASR), natural language processing, and speech synthesis.

Harman continues to deepen its cooperation with Baidu.
