Argentina does not recommend anti-dumping for my refrigerant

Argentina’s Ministry of Industry announced on the 11th that it had concluded its anti-dumping investigation against chlorodifluoromethane (Flon 22) originating in China and determined that there was dumping in Chinese products, but did not recommend anti-dumping measures.

The government’s official communique issued on that day stated that after more than a year of investigation, the Undersecretary of State for Trade Policy and Management of the Ministry of Industry of Argentina ruled that the price of chlorodifluoromethane originating in China to be exported to Argentina was lower than that sold in the Chinese market. The price of dumping was 104.97%.

However, the announcement also announced that taking into account factors such as the actual situation in the Argentine market, it is proposed that anti-dumping duties on chlorodifluoromethane originating in China should not be imposed temporarily.

Chlorodifluoromethane, alias Freon 22, can be used to make refrigerants, extinguishing agents, and resin raw materials. Argentina started an anti-dumping investigation against chlorodifluoromethane originating in China from September 2009.

In recent years, the Argentine government has taken a series of restrictions on Chinese products. Since last year, bilateral trade between China and Arab countries has shown a warming trend. However, Albania continues to issue anti-dumping measures against Chinese products.

At the same time, the Chinese side also stated that it will take care of each other's interests and concerns and resolve trade conflicts and disputes with some developing countries.
