On February 26 last year, Sinochem Corporation officially launched the construction of an internationally leading fluorinated industrial park in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. The annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of environmentally friendly refrigerant HFC-134a, which can replace the ozone layer depleting substance CFC-12, is the first phase of the park. construction project. Previously, the Sinochem Group's holding companies adopted original reverse-cycle technology and independently developed second-generation high-efficiency gas-phase fluorination catalysts of the world's advanced level. Two sets of production facilities for HFC-134a with an annual output of 5,000 tons were built in Xi’an. Major equipment All of them are made of domestic materials, have a high level of automation and improve the "three wastes" treatment.

It is reported that after Taicang Chemical's annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of HFC-134a production equipment is officially put into production, Sinochem Group will become the third largest HFC-134a producer in the world and can provide 30,000 tons of Freon replacement products for domestic and foreign markets each year.
