The western resources are mainly mining and sales, but their expansion into the new energy auto industry is gaining momentum. On April 18 of this year, the company announced that it intends to raise more than 3.6 billion yuan for the acquisition of Wuzhoulong Automobile, Chongqing Hengtong Bus and other assets through the non-public issuance of shares to complete the strategic layout of new energy vehicles. After the acquisition, Western Resources will also realize the industrial layout of lithium ore mining, lithium battery materials, lithium battery assembly, new energy vehicle development, manufacturing and sales, and customer financing integration, and build a complete industrial chain for new energy sectors.
