Misunderstanding: not cold is not necessarily lack of refrigerant

Many friends will have the illusion that after a few years of use of the air conditioner, when the air conditioning cooling effect is found to be slow one day, it will be mistaken that the refrigerant is not enough. And when you call for after-sales maintenance, some unscrupulous maintenance masters will only add refrigerant to you after a simple overhaul. Over time, we mistakenly think that the air conditioner is not cold is a disaster.

In fact, the air conditioning refrigeration efficiency is not high, a large part of the reason is that the filter is too dirty. When the indoor air conditioner filter and the fins accumulate more dust, it will seriously affect the air outlet of the air conditioner, so that the cooling effect, and the accumulation of dust is also easy to breed bacteria, which has a negative impact on health.

Our test today can also be said to be a demonstration of how to clean the air conditioner at home, the focus is on cleaning the air conditioning filter. There are already many articles on the Internet that clean air-conditioning filters, but most of them are wall-mounted air conditioners. This time, we "do not take the usual path" and take the vertical air conditioner of the evaluation room to "cut the knife."

The cover of our vertical air conditioner is fixed by screws (many air conditioner covers are snap-fitted, only need to be lifted up to remove the cover), first open the screw caps on the left and right sides, screw Lower the screw and then remove the cover with a little force.

Be careful when removing the cover, as the display and buttons of the cover are connected to the power cord inside the air conditioner. Carefully pull out the buckle in the middle of the power cord and set the cover aside to pull out the filter!

I really don’t know, I’m scared! I really didn’t expect that there would be so much dust and garbage on it! Because our air conditioner was in the home appliance evaluation room for less than a year, and it’s just coming over. It will only be turned on when using the evaluation room to evaluate the product. Actually, there will be so much dust, so I can't help but guess the extent to which the air conditioner filter used in the home is dirty.

And so much dust has blocked the filter, and there is no way to ensure that it can filter the clean air, so it is also harmful to health.

After taking out the filter, we can see that the inside of the air conditioner and the frame part are also dirty. At this time, we can wipe the air conditioner with a damp towel or a dry towel to wipe off the dust. Because there are circuit boards and many components inside the air conditioner, be careful not to touch the water when wiping.

The cleaning of the filter is not so particular, just clean it under the faucet. When cleaning, pay attention to the concave side of the filter on the top and the convex side on the bottom so that the dust is more easily washed away. Because the dust is a thick layer that is absorbed on it, the flushing is difficult to rinse. At this time, the brush can be used, which is simple and efficient.

After cleaning, remember that you can't put it directly, because there is a lot of water. In the process of drying, try not to expose to the sun, because the filter is a plastic product, it is easy to expose it to sun exposure. Just dry in the shade and dry, you can install air conditioning after drying!

After cleaning the filter, we re-turned on the air conditioner. Everyone felt that the air-conditioning blown out by the air conditioner was a little more powerful. Of course, it could also be the result of psychological suggestion. . However, what is certain is that after cleaning up so many dirty things, the air conditioner is really comfortable.

Therefore, it is also recommended that you have time, you can also remove the filter screen of the home air conditioner for cleaning, although the actual effect depends on the degree of clogging of the filter, but the psychological improvement is obvious.
