China Automotive Systems will supply steering components for SAIC-GM-Wuling

China Automotive Systems Corporation announced a few days ago that its subsidiary has signed a contract with SAIC-GM-Wuling to provide steering system components for the latter.

The subsidiary, Jingzhou Henglong Auto Parts, will supply 350,000 sets of track and pinion electric steering systems (RackandPinionPowerSteeringSystems) to SAIC-GM-Wuling this year.

Headquartered in Hubei Province, China Automotive Systems Corporation can produce 3.8 million steering systems annually. Customers include China FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor Group, BYD Auto Company, Beiqi Foton Motor Company, Chery Automobile Company and Chrysler Group.
